Our Prayer For Today

 TODAY IS THE CONNECTIONAL DAY OF PRAYER IN THE
AFRICAN METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH:

Let us take 3 MINUTES in the PRESENCE OF THE LORD to REPENT of our SINS of omission and commission. LORD HAVE MERCY UPON US.

Let us REPENT for our poor stewardship of the Wisdom of our Ancestors as well as the Earth and her resources. LORD HAVE MERCY UPON US.

Let us REPENT for the neglect of our Colleges, Universities and Seminaries. LORD HAVE MERCY UPON US.

Let us REPENT for the paucity of our Mental Health Ministries.LORD HAVE MERCY UPON US.

Let us REPENT for the LITIGIOUS BEAST that we have allowed to swallow up that which most properly should be spent on the poor, the persecuted, the elderly and the children. LORD HAVE MERCY UPON US. CHRIST HAVE MERCY UPON US.

Let us PRAY to the LORD that "Our GOD WHO is faithful and JUST to FORGIVE US OF OUR SIN and CLEANSE US of ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS" Will REcreate us as "New WINE SKINS" and then pour into us THE "NEW WINE" of
HOLINESS,
PROPHETIC VISION,
EVANGELISTIC IMPACT,
THE MISSION TO UPROOT EVIL,
DISMANTLE THE STRATEGIES OF THE devil
and locally, regionally, nationally and globally UNLEASH MINISTRIES that will usher in "The New Heaven and The New Earth."

IN THE INCOMPARABLE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, SON OF GOD, MESSIAH, REDEEMER, HEALER, PRIEST and HOST OF ETERNITY. AMEN.
