PRAY for CLERGY WIDOWS and WIDOWERS

TODAY, let us PRAY for CLERGY WIDOWS and WIDOWERS.
The pain of loss is so often exacerbated by the stressors of public living.

CLERGY FAMILY Life can be as fragile as it can be strong.
DEATH for some is a release,
for others, it can be purgatory,
for too many it initiates a prolonged season of transition and mourning.

LORD JESUS CHRIST,
SON of CONSOLATION,
PRIEST of ETERNITY,
HEAR our PRAYERS for CLERGY WIDOWS and WIDOWERS.
Some are young, others elderly.
Many find themselves alone, confused, broke and overwhelmed.
HOLY SPIRIT HEAL the hurts.
Penetrate the cloud of confusion with your PEACE.
ENCIRCLE each one with Angels of LIGHT.
And DAILY PROVIDE for their needs and longings.
