THERE IS REST

Where do the Learned find REST?
When is the Sabbath for Healers?
Is there a pool of Refreshing for Prophets?
An isle of Retreat from the marathon of Motherhood?

SURELY in YOU ALONE dear LORD.
Only in YOU.

And so this day; we cast our cares on Calvary.
We toss them out of our thoughts,
Our day planners and agendas.
Every superfluous expectation and
Insensitive demand whether of ourselves or from others;
we place at YOUR feet.

We "surrender ALL to YOU Blessed Savior."
And we REST.
